Hi! I am Jessica!
Founder and caregiver at Casinha Daycare & Preschool
I’ve spent the past 9 years caring for children of all ages—first as an au pair, then as a nanny, and now as a mama myself. Becoming a mother deepened my love for the early years and inspired me to create Casinha: a space where little ones can grow with rhythm, freedom, and care.
I’ve always believed in slow, intentional childhood. Inspired by Waldorf values and my Brazilian roots, I bring warmth, creativity, and joy into each day. Whether we're painting with natural colors, exploring outside, or simply sharing a homemade meal, Casinha is a space where every child is seen and supported just as they are.
Casinha is more than a daycare—it's a little home for your little one.
Meet Our Family
Johann Sebastian – My wonderful husband and a loving dad with a heart for children. Johann is a former teacher, specializing in working with kids with special needs in a learning center. Though he's not directly involved in the daycare, his caring nature and experience are reflected in everything we do. His presence at home adds an extra layer of support, kindness, and wisdom that enriches our environment.
Hunter – Our energetic and loving 20-month-old son, who’s the heart of Casinha. Hunter is a bundle of joy, always making new friends, staying active, and never missing an opportunity to share his best hugs. His playful spirit and endless curiosity bring smiles to everyone he meets and remind us daily of the beauty of childhood.
Together, we’re building a nurturing and joyful space for children to grow, play, and be themselves.
